Episode 95 - James Yeo (Left Handed Giant Brewing Co.)

This week's featured artist is Brighton based artist James Yeo. We came to learn of James through his labels and designs for Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. We spoke with Yeo to learn about his story, love of art and creation and how he organized his files and helps to name the beers too. A fellow lover of music James shares with us a great project that he and his wife are working on to discover as well as deep dive weekly into new music. A lot of fun and sarcasm and great perspective into his work and insight into one of my favorite labels he made as a gift for his father in law. This week's featured artist is Arielle Katarina the fruit loving, chill vibe having artist from Florida who is the creative force behind the labels for Hidden Springs Ale Works. A great insight into her journey, how she ended up in Florida and how she became an Artrepreneur. This is our first episode of Season 9 and it is great way to kick it off. This week's featured artist is FL's own Eric Wolfe Sahlsten who we came to learn of through his beard and designs for Motorworks Brewing. Happy 5th Anniversary to the Motorworks crew and best of luck in the future. This is a good story of hard work, enjoyment and humility. Episode 91 - Jason Lynch (Decadent Ales)

This week's featured artist is CT-based designer Jason Lynch. We came to learn of Jason through his work Decadent Ales of NY. Learn about how he got his start, his journey from Colorado to the East Coast and his process bringing these characters to life.

Episode 90 - Matt "Varnish" Taylor (Brouwerij West)

This week's featured artist is Matt "Varnish" Taylor, the Grammy Award winning founder of Varnish Studio. We came to learn of Matt through his work with Brouwerij West, but his portfolio is rocking and vast including the likes of Trey Anastasio (Phish), Red Hot Chili Peppers (won his Grammy for Stadium Arcadium album art), The Bruery, Lost Abbey, Coda Brewing, World of Warcraft, Paris Hilton, Roadhouse Brewing, Flying Machine Brewing and honestly so much more including Tim Burton to name drop a few.

Matt is a proud father whose story shows that through hard work and passion you can do great things. He is a natural story teller and some of them are great insights and behind the scenes that mix dedication, luck, life and passion to create a great story of a designer who loves his family and his job and is following his path to bring all of these things to life.

His crazy wearing a ton of hats photo had me wondering what was to come of this episode but it’s perfect for our 90th. Great insight for those who are starting out as well as those of you who are in the thick of it. Inspiration is all over this one.
